The Koroneiki olive is a small, marble sized olive indigenous to Greece. It produces a dark green colored olive oil. This olive variety is known to have some of the highest levels of polyphenols, making its oil among the healthiest available. Bold and peppery in flavor with strong green, vegetal notes, this oil is robust and grassy like fresh chopped herbs.
