Passion Fruit - 8 oz

The flavor of passion fruit is astringent and refreshingly tart when the fruit is fresh, with a flavor that can be compared with citrus, melon, pineapple, and kiwi. It becomes sweeter and more complex as the fruit ripens. You'll know that a passion fruit is fully ripe, with maximum sweetness, when its skin is slightly wrinkled.

The flesh is jellylike and can be scooped out and eaten with a spoon, or you can juice the inside of passion fruit, and use it in smoothies, cocktails, or make a syrup out of them with sugar and any other fruits you might like.
