Okra is very versatile with lots of key nutrients. Okra is most often used as a soup or stew ingredient, though its textures and flavors are truly enhanced when fried and grilled. You can also the pods for pickling, slice them for frying or boiling, or roast them whole with some olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Staff notes: we love to add okra to dishes such as gumbo or jambalaya!
